We reply within two working days, usually sooner. Please mention which device and app version you are using — it makes problems much faster to diagnose.
Account and sign-in
I cannot sign in
Check that you are using the same method you signed up with — email and password, Google, or Apple. If you originally signed in with Google or Apple, using an email and password will create a separate, empty account rather than opening your existing one.
I forgot my password
Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. The reset link is valid for about 15 minutes and can be used once. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder before requesting another.
I want to delete my account
You can delete your account from inside the app, or request it here: Delete your account. Everything is set out on that page, including what is removed and what has to be kept.
Using the app
Voice recording is not working
Leadership Playbook needs microphone permission to record a reflection. Grant it in your device settings under the app’s permissions. You can also use the app entirely by typing — voice is optional.
What happens to my audio?
Audio is sent for transcription and the temporary file is deleted immediately afterwards. Only the resulting text is kept, and only if you save it as part of a reflection.
The AI response was unhelpful, wrong, or inappropriate
Please tell us — email the address above with what you asked and what came back. AI-generated content is there to support reflection, not to advise. It can be incomplete or simply wrong, and it should never be treated as professional, legal, medical or psychological advice.
AI is optional. You can write and save reflections without ever requesting an AI perspective.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Leadership Playbook includes a data export option. If you have trouble with it, email us and we will send your data directly.
Privacy and data
What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in full in the Privacy Policy — the app-specific part is here, retention periods are here, and your rights are here.
Content you enter into Leadership Playbook is separate from any coaching engagement. It is not shared with an employer, a coach, or anyone else.
Is this the same as coaching?
No. Leadership Playbook is a reflection tool you use on your own. It is not coaching, therapy, or clinical support, and nothing in it is monitored or reviewed by a person.
If you are looking for actual executive coaching, that is a separate conversation — start here.
If you are in crisis or need urgent mental-health support, please contact your doctor or local emergency services. This app is not a substitute for professional help and no one monitors what you write in it.
